Policy for all students: Books may be signed out for one week, and are due at their next library class. The only exception is Kindergarten, since they come in twice a week. Their books are due during their second class of the week.
If you are unsure when your student's library day is, you may check the master schedule for their day and time.
Renewing a book is certainly allowed. A student doesn't even have to bring it back; they just need to let me know they want it again, and I can take care of it from there.

Kindergarteners come into library twice a week. Once for a library lesson, and once for a story and to check out a book. Each student may sign out one book a week. This year (2014-2015) Mrs. Thibodeau's class and Mrs. Corbett's class sign out on Wednesdays, and Mrs. Haggerty's class and Mrs. Lunn's class sign out on Thursdays.
First Grade students have library once a week. They get a library lesson or story, and then have time to sign out a book. At the beginning of the year, students may sign out one book. However, once they earn four stars, they will be able to take out two.
To earn a star, each student must return his/her book on time, and in the same condition it was when it was signed out.
